Post in: ASHBURN, Va. It's not revenge that Josh Norman wants. He's not necessarily trying to prove a point OK, maybe he wants to a little bit.
What he really wholesale jerseys wants is action. So when he faces his former team Monday night, he wants his old teammate, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, to test him on the field. A lot of that also depends how the Washington Redskins deploy Norman. Norman has followed the other team's best receiver at times two weeks ago that even meant covering Larry Fitzgerald in the slot. He has stayed on one side at others he played strictly on the left against Philadelphia on Sunday. The Redskins will challenge the Panthers to test Norman. "Throw it to his side and let's see," Redskins end Ricky Jean Francois said. "Let me show you why the Redskins paid him that money. He'll show you why if they throw to his side. But most quarterbacks don't never point to that side." Jean Francois pointed to the Panthers' general manager, Dave Gettleman, as someone he'd like to thank. "I understand what the GM did and let him go," Jean Francois said. "Cool, you brought him over to our team. You gave us a great part of your defense, and we're taking advantage of his skill set. This man can take off one half of the field. Not many corners can do that. Not many corners can get a quarterback to not pay attention to that side of the field. It helped his pocket, and it helped our team." By Thursday afternoon, Norman was all talked out about Gettleman's decision to rescind the franchise tag, which made him a free agent in April. "I just beating a dead horse," Norman said. "You'll hear about it in the Book of Norman one day." Perhaps a bigger challenge will be keeping Norman's emotions in check or not nfl letting them get to the point where he loses focus. But Norman said that won't be an issue. He said he really didn't start thinking about this game until this past week, though his family has been talking to him for several weeks about coming to this game. "The good thing cheap authentic jerseys with Josh is that it doesn't vary week to week," Redskins coach Jay Gruden said. "He gets up for everybody. That's the beauty of him. That's why he's such a great player, because he doesn't discriminate as far as him and his emotions and his level of intensity for game day." But Norman admitted he started the week paying even closer attention to detail and he's already well known for his preparation and work habits. He said he doesn't know whether emotions ever get the best of him "because now I just let them run wild." "Whatever you see is what you're going to get," he said. "But I do know how to contain it to a certain extent. Then again, I just let the fire go that's inside and I don't know how to shut it off once it wholesale jerseys online gets started. It's one of those things where it's going to be a different feel. Definitely, it's going to be a different feel. "If there was another level [of emotions], I think all these cameras would be burned right now, but I don't know. I think come Monday night those emotions will probably come out and show themselves. I don't know what it will be like because it's my first time being in something like this." Norman said that his fire is contagious. "It touches everybody that's in the group," he said. "I try to do that. Every time you hear people from the outside bringing their noise about you, that's outside noise. They burn their fire wherever they want, but mine's going to be here in this building and touch whoever I can to be successful." Comments are closed.
